In effect, our daily actions are encompassed digitally, whether they are for entertainment purposes, acquiring information, social networking etc, technology and apt knowledge of it, has become extremely vital.

As Covid-19’s stronghold has shown, the correct computer must begin from childhood since contemporary and asynchronous education platforms have become a necessity!

In our Institute we strengthen, adhere and promote every form of technological upgrade. It is a magical tool that when placed in the hands of any well-informed and creative person can be a trigger for innovative inventive technological proposals.

The purpose of the Informatics and Computer Science course is to:

Computer Science as a course strives to prepare students to take the proper first steps within this Digital Society. It provides them with the adequate know how by teaching them the necessary skills, abilities and attitudes that will allow them to be responsible, conscious and creative. At the same time, the course cultivates systematic approaches to problem solving with the development of computer programs and systems.

Specifically, students are provided with the necessary knowledge to understand the operation of hardware, software and computer networks, as well as the principles, abilities and skills in the use of basic IT applications. At the same time, pupils are trained to gradually adopt the algorithmic way of thinking as an approach to analysis and problem solving; this then allows them to decide which computer programming skills to implement and how to control the proposed solution.  Students learn how to navigate themselves through the digital world efficiently, safely, and responsibly. In this way, pupils become informed, aware and sensible citizens of today.

In our computer lab, students have the opportunity to process computers not only externally but also to assimilate internal parts by analyzing how a computer is formed. This alone results in an enjoyable experience. They are also called upon to use different software and identify similarities and differences, understand the relationship between hardware, operating system, application software and user, identify risk factors for each of them and take appropriate protective and responsive measures.
