Robotics

Robotics

Robotics class at T.I.M.E. is an educational solution that sparks curiosity, while improving children’s skills in the fields of science, engineering, technology and programming.
They ask questions and solve problems, create models, design prototypes, research and analyze data, use algorithmic thinking, challenge themselves based on scientific evidence, evaluate and communicate knowledge by developing their self-confidence.
This journey involves students in a course that follows experiential learning (hands on) and learning through projects.
Children work in groups, so as to enhance the interaction between them and the exchange of views at each stage of the work.

Lego WeDo 2.0. (for children 5-7 years)

In the first level, children build robots following instructions from the computer and then, the team proceeds to program the robot by writing their code. Alas, the robot comes to life!
All this is done with the help of Smarthub (Brain), engine (Medium Motor), motion sensor (Motion Sensor), tilt sensor (Tilt Sensor), several building materials and software.
In a student-friendly and user-friendly programming environment, our children, with the help of their specialized teachers, deal with issues of physics, earth and space sciences, engineering and others.

Spike Prime (for children 9-11 years old)

Spike Prime combines colorful blocks, easy-to-use software and smart coding language, and continues to encourage students through enjoyable learning activities, critical thinking and problem solving, regardless of learning level.
Spike introduces students to STEAM and programming through fun robots and smart devices that make it easy to introduce students to data collection and analysis and problem solving in the real world.
Children cultivate the skills needed to become the pioneering minds of tomorrow … having fun!

Mindstorm EV3 (for children 11-14 years old)

In the third level of Robotics, students build, program and test their own solutions to real problems of robotic technology.
With the EV3 Intelligent Brick, a powerful small computer that enables the control of engines and the collection of data from sensors, students design and build programmable robots. They use high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles and other building materials and with the help of their teachers, they even exceed their own expectations.
Through educational robotics, students gain a better understanding of how technology works in real-world applications.
